Pont du la Stack is a minor station on an imaginary branch to Audresselles.
The station serves a quay at the head of navigation of the River Slack and local villages.
Further progress is along La Slack is barred by an Écluse (literally a lock but more accurately a dam).
Attempts by Napoleon and others to build a larger harbour were defeated by silting and tides.
