PINCHBOOLS HALT
00, British Railways (Eastern), 8 by 3 foot
Pinchbools Halt is named after a local farm. Nearby there is an area in the Valley called Brick House (End) suggesting that there may have been a brickworks. Facilities are a basic platform and a private siding with drops to unload clay & coal for the brickworks. This fits in well with Tegelbruk, (Swedish for brickworks) so Tegelbruk will be converted to Pinchbools Halt. Work is adding a platform and replacing the existing dummy point with a working point.
