Vilstal Bahn is a 27 km/17 mile long imaginery private railway from a junction with the Österreichischen Bundesbahnen
(Austrian Federal Railway) at Reutte via Höfen and Weißenbach am Lech to Zöblen in the beautiful Vilstal (Vils Valley).
The railway was built to reinvigorate mining but in practise it stimulated limestone quarrying and tourism
generating a range of traffic including block limestone trains and through coaches from Germany & Vien
