Passenger

The passenger train comes on scene

Passes the ground frame

Pulls into the platform

and stops

The train backs up to give clearance to run round

The loco pulls forward to start running round

The loco back passed the train

Squeezes past the cattle van

Couples up

Then pushes the coaches back to the platform

While the passengers get on board the cattle van is shunted to the middle siding

The passenger train returns to the junction

In model terms it returns to the fiddle yard

Goods

The goods arrives

Runs round

Pushes the train

to the platform

The loco collects the out bound coal and cattle wagons

then it collects the out bound lime wagon - out bound wagons are left on the goods siding

The in bound coal wagons and break van are moved to the central siding.

The coal wagons are left by the coal merchant and the break van uncoupled

The inbound lime wagon is moved to the goods siding

In bound wagons are moved to the gravel works.

Out bound wagons are collected from the gravel works

The loco runs round [again!]

The out bound train is moved to the platform

The out bound gravel wagons are left on the central siding as there isn't room in the train.

The goods departs

and returns to the fiddle yard.

Station

An oddity there is no good shed. Smalls are handled on the platform stored in the white van
and arrive/depart via the gate by the white van hence the aggregate to support trucks.

Yard Siding

The centre siding serves Bailey's coal merchant and is used as storage.

Woody's the local garage
