Open cast coal is quarried rather than mined and in this case trucked to a loader oddly called an opencast disposal point

A class 09 arrives with empty wagons

Leaves the wagons on the loop

Runs Round

Repositions the break van

Collects full wagons

Collects the break van

Then goes back to the junction

A J94 comes off the engine shed

Moves the empty wagon to the loader

Coal arrives and is dumped on the
buffer stock or in the dump house

From the dump house coal is moved by conveyor to wagon loading house

Where its dumped into wagons

The engine shed

The diesel tank

The coal stage with ash below and a hose to water the engines

Oddly coal is delivered as the local coal is unsuited to steam locos

End of the line and managers car
