Ausleben
H0,
Deutsche Reichsbahn, 3.5 by 4 foot
Ausleben
is a station on an imaginary cross country
line from Ölmühle to Nordhausen. When the 'Iron Curtain' fell the line
was lifted between
Rhumspring and Hotensleben
converting the cross country line to East and West German branch lines.
The Deutsche Reichsbahn (East German)
branch from Nordhausen to
Hotensleben
survived in part because of timber traffic.
Wollershausen
is the Deutsche
Bundesbahn (West German) opposite number of
Ausleben.
