FERROVIARIAS DEL VALLE DEL BESAYA
Built in 1919 The Ferroviarias Del Valle Del Besaya (Besaya Valley Railway) linked the Mines du Cantabre S. A’s. lead-zinc mine at
Reocin to ore dock at Cuchia where barges shipped ore along the coast to France. The railway follows a 17.0 km (10.6 mile) gentle
downhill course along the valleys of the Saja and Besaya.
