Concept the layout will use the fiddle yard and right from
operator u-turn board (photos of the u-turn are below) from Halfway House.
A new station board will be added this will comprise a loop
with platform, a general goods siding, a siding serving a quay, and a siding
with Engine shed.
To emphasise the tram aspect set track point and 250mm radius
curves will be used. The set track points and particularly the 250mm radius
curves will constrain the stock used on the layout. Stock
is under development
however most four wheel and short wheel base six wheel stock should, couplings
permitting, run on the layout.
